How a Nippon Express USA customer
took advantage of our sophisticated tracking and tracing
capabilities
The Situation:
Nippon Express USA in Boston
and San Francisco were helping Company A, a leading
high technology firm, supply LAN (Local Area Network)
equipment to important clients in Japan. As befits a
high-profile network supplier, Company A accepted orders
from their Japanese customers via the Internet, and
those customers would also use the Internet to monitor
the status of their systems during production. Scheduling
was important. Company A wanted to extend the services
they provided, and they asked Nippon Express USA to
provide a solution.
The Solution:
Nippon Express SFO asked the
Nippon Express MIS Center in Chicago to create an online
linkage between Nippon Express USA's sophisticated tracing
system and the Company A's website. Company A's clients
can now trace their Nippon Express USA shipments from
within their website, an arrangement that is convenient
for the customers and providers alike.
